Why Choose Therapy With Me?

Losing a pet can be deeply painful, whether through death, separation, rehoming, or when a pet goes missing. Life, once filled with companionship, routine, and love, can suddenly feel empty. Feelings of sadness, guilt, or loneliness are completely normal. They reflect the strength of the bond you shared with your pet, a relationship built on unconditional love and trust.

Grief after pet loss can feel misunderstood, and that lack of recognition can leave you feeling isolated in your pain. For many, pets are like family; they bring joy, companionship, and a sense of purpose. When they are gone, it can disrupt your daily life.

Sometimes, we are faced with the heartbreaking decision to let a pet go peacefully when illness, age, or injury affects their quality of life. Making this choice can evoke a range of complex emotions, including sorrow, guilt, or relief. Talking about your feelings and sharing memories of your pet can bring comfort and healing. I offer a calm, compassionate space for you to explore these feelings, share memories, and process them.

You don't have to face this alone. If you are struggling to cope, get in touch. Together, we can gently explore your feelings and support you as you navigate grief at your own pace.

Your Session

There is no set number of sessions when it comes to therapy; everyone’s journey is different. The length and pace of our work together will be shaped by your needs, your goals, and what feels right for you.

Therapy is most effective when it’s consistent, which is why sessions are usually held at the same time each week. If we decide to work together, we will agree on a regular weekly time that becomes your dedicated space.

Sessions last for 50 minutes and are payable in advance.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations of shorter notice or missed sessions are charged in full.
