HOW I WORK​​

There often comes a moment when something inside says: I can’t keep going like this.

 

Maybe anxiety keeps showing up uninvited. Maybe you are carrying a pain that is hard to name. Perhaps you are grieving someone or something deeply important. Or maybe you just feel stuck, unsure of how to move forward, but clear you don’t want to stay where you are.

 

Whatever has brought you here, I want you to know: You don’t have to face it alone.

 

I am a qualified integrative humanistic therapist. This means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, but at the heart of every session is you, your story, your needs, and your pace. Therapy is about creating space to be with whatever you are carrying, with warmth and without judgement, so that change can begin.

 

I believe deeply in your capacity to grow, heal and find meaning even in the midst of pain or uncertainty. I see therapy as a collaborative journey, one where I walk alongside you with care and compassion, helping you reconnect with your inner strength and discover new ways of being with yourself and with others.

 

WHAT THERAPY CAN SUPPORT

Our sessions offer a confidential, non-judgmental space where you can bring whatever is weighing on you. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, loss, grief, trauma or relationship difficulties, this is a space where you do not have to carry it all alone.

 

You can speak freely. You can go at your own pace. And you will be met with warmth, compassion, and respect.

 

I know how daunting it can feel to reach out, especially if you have never had the experience of being truly heard without judgement. But therapy can offer something rare: a space grounded in safety and trust, where your thoughts and feelings are welcomed just as they are. While the process can be challenging, it can also be deeply healing, bringing greater clarity, insight, and meaningful change.

 

A FLEXIBLE, PERSONALISED APPROACH

No two people are the same. That is why I work flexibly and responsively, drawing on different therapeutic models, to meet your unique needs.

 

Alongside talking therapy, I may offer grounding tools such as breathwork or body awareness practices, which can be especially helpful when working with trauma or anxiety. However we work, sessions move at a pace that feels right for you and stay centred on what matters most to you.

 

NAVIGATING GRIEF AND LOSS

Grief can feel like being lost in a storm without a map. Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, a pregnancy, or a future you hoped for, therapy can offer a space to honour and name that pain in a way that is gentle and meaningful.

I believe grief is a reflection of love and connection. Making space for that truth to be seen, held, and supported can be a powerful part of healing.

 

RELATIONSHIP CHALLENGES

Our relationships shape who we are. When they hurt, we can feel unsure, disconnected, or stuck in painful patterns. If you are struggling with trust, communication, or conflict, we can explore what is happening together.

 

Sometimes that means looking at past experiences and how old beliefs or wounds may still be echoing into the present. Over time, therapy can support you in developing more honest, compassionate, and fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and to others.

Healing happens in a relationship. My aim is to create a space where you feel supported, seen, and safe, where all parts of you are welcome. A space where you can begin to reclaim your voice, reconnect with your strength, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and care.
