Why Choose Therapy With Me?

Loss can reshape our lives in ways we never imagined. It might be the death of someone you love, the end of a relationship, a change in your health, the loss of a job, or the future you hoped for. It may be the slow, painful changes that come with illnesses like cancer, dementia, or stroke. Perhaps you’re grieving the impact of infertility, a sudden diagnosis, leaving a place that felt like home, or feeling lost in the transitions that come with ageing or shifting roles.

Whatever your experience, you don’t have to go through it alone.

You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to keep going, but just by being here, you’ve already taken a meaningful step.

Grief doesn’t follow a straight path. Some days you might feel numb, and on others, completely overwhelmed. You may feel angry, exhausted, anxious, or struggle to put what you’re going through into words. Grief can come in waves, take you by surprise, or leave you feeling disconnected. You might replay moments in your mind, wrestle with regret, or wonder when, or if, you’ll feel “normal” again. These feelings are all part of how we carry loss, and they make sense, even when they’re hard to hold.

I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can begin to make sense of your experience, at your own pace. Together, we can explore what this loss means for you and how to live alongside it, while also rebuilding your relationship with yourself and your future. This work can open up space for healing, strength, and reconnection, in a way that honours everything you’ve been through.

Your Session

There is no set number of sessions when it comes to therapy; everyone’s journey is different. The length and pace of our work together will be shaped by your needs, your goals, and what feels right for you.

Therapy is most effective when it’s consistent, which is why sessions are usually held at the same time each week. If we decide to work together, we will agree on a regular weekly time that becomes your dedicated space.

Sessions last for 50 minutes and are payable in advance.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations of shorter notice or missed sessions are charged in full.
